I finally broke down and got the kindle version since it seemed like I was never going to get the paperback I ordered for some reason. I really enjoyed this book.
I fell in love with Chip and Zae in the first book Burn about their friends Gian and Cinder, but unfortunately this book didn't make me love them more... but at least I don't hate them.
I just finshed and i loved how Chip and Zea became friends before they became lovers. But i also felt the pain that Zea went through from her lose of her husban.
I call books like these dessert books because they are usually so much lighter than the books I normally choose to read. Mrs.
This was the sequel to Burn and I like it more than Burn. I loved all the characters.

The first couple chapters of this book, where Chip & Zae are in the wedding party for their friends and how they came together that night, were exquisite. Yes, there was a little suspension of belief necessary with the two of them being friends for 9 years but never seeing each other "that way" until then, but it still worked.
