Undocumented secrets of MATLAB-Java programming

My organization uses MATLAB heavily on a day-to-day basis -- mostly for signal processing work, but we regularly need to build user interfaces to our software for demonstration purposes or to help with using in-house tools. I do still believe that MATLAB is not the proper tool for building production-level graphical user interfaces, but the information in this book and on Mr.

I spend most of the day at my job living in Matlab. This book is full of GUI trick and techniques you won't find elsewhere (other than the author's excellent blog).

I'm only part-way through the book and already I can tell this is a must-have resource for all but the most basic Matlab UI customization. In designing a GUI, the user experience is just as important as the app's core functionality - and many of the apps we use on a daily basis reflect this.
